More in store at CRS 2010 - February 16, 2010
There's much more than ever before in store for retailers at the Convenience Retailing Show (CRS) 2010, 21st to 24th March, NEC Birmingham. The big news is the addition of the co-located Off Licence Show where industry experts will be on-hand to help retailers improve their beers, wines and spirits (BWS) offer. Already signed up for this part of the show are award-winning wine maker Australian Vintage; Norfolk-based Broadland Wineries, which offers great British wines; Diageo, whose brands include Baileys, Guinness, Johnnie Walker and Smirnoff; leading BWS distributor Euro Wholesale; Global Brands, the company behind VK vodka; online ‘Beer at Home' company Highgate & Davenports Brewery; and Norwegian glacial mineral water company Isklar. The Off Licence Show will also include Off Licence Live in conjunction with Off Licence News magazine. Retailers who aren't yet licenced can find out all they need to know about how to get the status they need, whole those who already sell BWS can pick up tips on improving their sales and increasing their profits.
Retailers visiting CRS 2010 and the Off Licence Show can meet up with 200 suppliers all under one roof. Some of the big names in CRS, include Allied Bakeries, Alpine Refrigeration, Bobby's Foods, Coffee Nation, Hovis Bakeries, E Jordon (Refrigeration), Landmark, Pepsico, Robert Wiseman Dairies, Torex, Unilever, and Warburtons. In addition, Take More, Make More is back in conjunction with Convenience Store magazine. Its unique feature programme is packed with seminars and panel discussions where retailers can pick up free business advice and tips on making more profit. The visitor Discount Booklet also returns packed with exclusive show deals which can save retailers thousands of pounds. Café+ with Café+ Live is also back for 2010 and there's a comprehensive programme featuring some of the biggest names in the food-to-go category including Costa Coffee, Nestlé and Pret a Manger. In all, CRS 2010 is co-located with no fewer than seven other exhibitions: Food & Drink Expo, Foodex, Café+, Baking Industry Exhibition, the International Forecourt & Fuel Equipment Show, Off Licence Show as well as the new Food & Drink Logistics Show, which will give visitors an overview of the food and drink supply chain. Retailers' tickets to CRS will give them free entry to all of these marketing leading shows.
