PALMER AND HARVEY AT CRS 2008For the first time ever, Palmer and Harvey is exhibiting at the Convenience Retailing Show. The leading wholesale distributor is using the show as a platform to recruit more independent retailers to its Mace symbol group. COCA-COLA SIGNS UP FOR CRS 2008The biggest name in soft drinks – Coca-Cola – will be exhibiting at the Convenience Retailing Show 2008, which will be held at the Birmingham NEC from April 6-9. BIG NAMES BACK CRS 2008The exhibitor line-up so far for CRS 2008 reads like a who’s who of the convenience industry. There’s Allied Bakeries, Arla Foods, Birds Eye, Bobby’s Foods, British American Tobacco, Card Connection, Choices, Christie & Co, Coca-Cola Enterprises, Country Choice, Gallaher, GlaxoSmithKline, Imperial Tobacco, Kenco Coffee Company, Kepak, Kettle Foods, Kraft Foods, Procter & Gamble, Sony, Sun Valley, Sweet Cred, Tchibo Coffee, Unilever, Warburtons and YP Electronics, to name just a few. The big names keep on comingPalmer and Harvey with its Mace brand is the latest big name to join the CRS line up for 2008. Other retail names at the show include Musgrave Retail Partners with Budgens and Londis, and Spar. Spar chooses CRSSpar, the UK's largest convenience store group, is returning to the Convenience Retailing Show in 2008. Richard Bennett, retail director at Spar UK, describes the show as a "great opportunity to explain to potential Spar retailers the full benefits of becoming a Spar member". |
